    The making of the tino.website

The idea of “tino.website” was to have a personal web- platform to show my artwork. Inspired by the old-fashioned windows 95 layout, which was for me back in the days, an every-day object. I copied the design of the name-giving elements, the “windows”, and used them to deliver my work and therefore separate the design of the site from the main content. The website is made out of two main pages, the landing page and the archive. There’s no actual homepage. The landing page focuses on quick information delivery, the gallery is here for further interest. The archive itself is divided into three main windows – three different ways to get in touch with my Work. “recently…” shows the latest updates and news chronologically ordered. “projects” contains actual projects, well thought-out concepts and ideas which were realized over a longer period of time. “gallery” shows randomly composed pictures of my work - Just click on the picture, you want to enlarge!

Borders

It's hard to imagine how humans and nature could be to be more different in terms of their design and the influence they have on their surroundings. Like an opposite pole, man seems to distance himself further and further from the norms of nature. Already detached from local resources and conditions, the human space design of the modern era is developing into the most abstract directions. With the the advancement of technology, us humans are able to implement more creative yet structure and meaningful ideas. I want to use this series to highlight this ever increasing divergence between spaces of man and nature. It is the small details, the structures, through which a space explains itself that I want to explore. It is amazing that the different harmonies between these structures and their environment (regardless of whether created by man or nature) do not seem so different. Yes the contrast between them is unmistakable.

TUNE UP

The pictures of the "Tune up"- series show various situations in which a group of young men and women met each other. The scenes are happening when it is already dark, before the night-life strats. "tune up", should describe the appearance of these meetings. They are cool and relaxed. They show themselfes from their best side, put on stylishly clothes and give the impression of „forgeting the problems of everyday life.“
